Your First Lesson: An Assessment
Your assessment acts as a springboard for action; Together we will gain a sense of your body’s needs and your personal goals, and we will work together to find the path best for you. Prior to this first session, we’ll ask you to complete a new student questionnaire This helps us prepare for our time together. Your 90 minute session will include a combination of assessments that we feel will best inform us moving forward: postural, mobility/strength, gait, post-partum; all intended to gather the information needed to devise a personalized plan that is sustainable and suitable for your life.
Private Lessons

Private Lessons
Private lessons are for the student who wants or needs to work one-on-one in order to achieve their goals. Students who work privately with us are often struggling with chronic injuries, recovering from injury or surgery and are post-rehab, returning to exercise post-partum and navigating pelvic floor dysfunction, c-section recovery, or diastasis. This option is ideal for students looking to accomplish a specific athletic goal in a time-specific manner. Students may also prefer 1:1 instruction because they are more comfortable learning within a quieter, less stimulating environment.
Semi-Private Lessons
Semi-private lessons are for two students who have similar needs/goals. If you are interested in finding a lesson partner or if you and a friend are interested in working out together, please let us know.
We offer Private Group Classes for groups of more than 2 students who are interested in forming a cohort to meet at a consistent day/time.
Independent Practice
When appropriate, we will encourage you to practice independently from your private lessons! Practicing without the guidance of your teacher will allow you to fully focus on listening to your body and adjusting from within. We’ll develop a program that you practice in a private lesson environment until you are comfortable to practice independently. A teacher will always be present at the studio during your workout. Detailed questions, modifications, and advancements will be addressed during private lessons, at time intervals determined by you and your teacher. Independent workout times are pre-scheduled. Students taking advantage of independent practice must also be enrolled in private lessons, unless otherwise cleared with Lindsay or Nicole.
Group Classes

Mat Classes
Mat class is designed to accommodate all levels. Here you will practice whole-body exercises that challenge you physically and intellectually. Each class will deepen your understanding of breath, spinal mobility, and control of movement. You’ll leave feeling stronger and balanced in your body. Classes are offered both in person and via zoom.
Apparatus Classes
We utilize Reformers, Springboards, Exo/Wunda Chairs, and auxiliary props in our group apparatus classes. It is not uncommon for classes to move between various pieces of equipment, or to include a combination of mat exercises and apparatus work. Classes are designed with the needs and goals of each student in mind and tailored to individual cohorts. Each class will offer you opportunities to strengthen functional movement patterns, and increase control, mobility, strength, and balance. We will encourage you to stretch your movement vocabulary and help you gain confidence as a capable mover.
