We opened Renew Pilates together in 2011 because we believe that a sound, strong body is paramount to living a better life. Having a community of like-minded individuals who are willing to move together and support one another to become better versions of themselves will always be at the forefront of our mission at Renew. We provide quality instruction that combines evidence-based Pilates, corrective exercise, and functional movement instruction in a friendly, professional, inclusive environment. We pride ourselves on our eye for detail and our ability to find creative ways to teach, connect, and inspire our students.
Welcome to our studio. We can’t wait to meet you!

Nicole Caporusso Kutcher
Regardless of whether working within the Pilates modality or integrating more traditional mobility and strength training exercises into her clients’ movement diet, Nicole’s lens remains the same: Treat the person in front of you, from the ground up, and the inside out. Improve foot and ankle function to improve hip function. Improve breathing, spinal mobility, and core muscular control to obtain more efficient whole body movement and function. She loves helping her students find connections between in-studio work and real life situations and strives to help each student gain confidence in their abilities.
Nicole’s personal movement experience is vast and varied: dance, equestrianism, running, cycling, swimming, martial arts, archery, singing, and musicianship are all part of her movement vocabulary. She danced professionally in NYC with HT Chen and Dancers, Mariana Beckerman, Vanessa Paige, and in the Pioneer Valley with The Tinydance Project. Always active, she’s no stranger to chronic and traumatic injuries, and the physical and emotional challenges that arise when injured.
Nicole is a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor, Personal Trainer, and Level 2 Functional Gait Specialist. She also holds certifications in Postpartum Corrective Exercise, Functional Range Conditioning, and Kettlebell. She graduated from Hamilton College in 2002 with a B.A. in Dance and East Asian studies.
Nicole particularly enjoys working with clients who struggle with chronic foot/ankle/hip related issues. Students who work with Nicole must be patient and willing to put in the work in the studio and at home in order to achieve lasting results.

Lindsay Ann Lynn
Lindsay discovered Pilates while rehabilitating a back injury. In 2003, after earning her degree in Theater and Dance from Keene State College, she began performing professionally with HawleyMartin Dance and Blaze Dance Company. Lindsay’s education in bodywork began as a Chiropractic assistant. She went on to receive her teacher training in Physical Restoration (a comprehensive pilates training integrated with aspects of other movement modalities) with Krisen Day in 2006. Lindsay is currently a bridge student in the Balanced Body Comprehensive Teacher Certification and studies with Zayna Gold of Boston Body Pilates. Lindsay now brings more than a decade of individualized bodywork experience to each of her students. She continues to expand her knowledge of the mechanics of the body through workshops, trainings, and continuing education.

Gwynne E. Morrissey
Gwynne has taught at Renew since 2024, and been a Renew student since 2014. She has two Master’s degrees and a Ph.D., all in education-related topics, as proof of her relentless drive to learn how and why. To balance out her full-time work in the knowledge economy, she’s been an exercise omnivore for decades, including running, yoga, kickboxing, walking, cycling, CrossFit, hiking, and strength training. (Unlike many Pilates teachers, she dropped out of ballet class at age 6 and never looked back.) Of all the exercise modalities, Pilates has helped her feel more graceful in her lanky movements, mobile in her joints, and capable of reducing the pains of desk workers. She likes polysyllabic words, purple of every shade, and snow.
